PRS Paul Reed Smith 6-String SE Hollowbody Piezo Electric Guitar

The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo is an instrument designed to provide musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric tones in one guitar. Boasting an all-mahogany body with hollow construction, the guitar offers a warm and resonant tone. Equipped with 58/15 LT "S" pickups and an LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, the SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo allows players to blend the magnetic pickups with the piezo's acoustic tones.

The guitar features a 22-fret wide fat neck, a bone nut, and a PRS adjustable Piezo stoptail bridge, which contribute to its playability and tone. It is designed with two discrete volume controls, one for the magnetic pickups and one for the piezo, as well as separate output jacks for the magnetic and mix/piezo signals.

Players can plug into the "Mix/Piezo" jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 "S" pickups with the piezo's acoustic tones. Alternatively, they can plug into the jacks separately, allowing the magnetic pickups to be routed into an amp and the piezo to be sent through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard.

When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe. This ensures that the magnetic pickups will still function even if the piezo battery has run out of power.

The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo also features PRS trademark bird inlays, adding to its distinctive and visually appealing design. Overall, this guitar is a versatile and well-crafted instrument that allows musicians to explore a range of tonal possibilities, from warm and resonant acoustic tones to powerful electric sounds.
